Shadow

“Shadow”

I see my Shadow,
Goodness I see my shadow,
Could it be that I did not know me?

Could it be that I was hidden from me,
Could it be that the journey was really on the interior,
Though it manifested in my daily walk

The light and the dark
Oh my goodness I could not stand to see the dark,
How could I be pulled by such unacceptable forces when I know them to be
the path of suffering, yet in my weakness I succumbed.

Humiliated I would be when once again I allowed shadow to predict my days.

Rise, Fire, Rise, Fire, Rise, Fire,
Come on!

Light

Please, turn on the light.

Though I am not strong enough yet, I will be someday,
Please, turn on the light,
I need time to practice,
Forgive me.
